Verde Chili Sauce with Ground Turkey
In a blender mix the following ingredients:
1 7oz can diced green chiles
2 13 oz cans of whole tomatillos
1 cup chicken broth
3 Tbsp lime juice
2 tsp dry oregano leaves
1 tsp ground cumin
Then blend the ingredients.
In a frying pan mix the following ingredients:
1 medium onion chopped
1 package of lean ground turkey
Cook on medium heat until turkey is browned and onions are translucent.
Then add sauce and simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally for 20 minutes.
*You can use chicken or pork too.
Serve over veggies, rice, quinoa, or make a burrito or enchiladas.
The whole family loves this! If you like spicy add jalapeno or Mrs Dashes Extra Spicy.
Top with monetary jack cheese and enjoy!.
